Physician Assistance - Training
The activity of physician assistance is still relatively unknown in Switzerland and is also relatively new in Germany, but has been established in the USA for many decades and in the Dutch healthcare system for around 15 years. This makes physician assistance in Switzerland/Germany a young, academic medical profession.

The study of the Physician Assistance like most degree courses, concludes with a Bachelor's thesis in the final semester. The result of the thesis must be „defended“ orally. After passing the Bachelor's thesis and all other module examinations during the course of study, students graduate with the academic degree Bachelor of Science and are allowed to Physician Assistance name.
